Day 17- Kenneth Village Farmer’s Market

On Day 17 in 365 Things to Do In Glendale we visit one of the city’s many Farmer’s Markets. Each one has a bit of a different flavor and the flavor at Kenneth Village kis creative and unique.

This is a relatively new Farmer’s Market- held on Saturdays, 8AM to 1PM. About half of the vendors are fresh produce and prepared foods and half are craft booths with imaginative offerings. Stephanie Lanza of John Joseph Designs was a stand out in her “pop-up boutique” offering 60′s Mod costume jewelry and colorful scarves that I have not seen anywhere else. Malia Rowe of Ethnicity was attending her first Market at Kenneth Village and her first impressions were favorable! “Everyone is really friendly”, she said. Malia offers Fairtrade Crafts from all over the world and I loved her selection of small bags.
