Just a quick note, Chilluns, about an overlooked GEM of a deal on a Glendale Home.
Now- we, in Glendale, are just chock-a-block with wonderful, character homes. We got plenty of Spanish, Monterey Colonial, English Tudor and California Ranch. But, lovely, authentic and gracious Craftsman? Not so much.
Why, oh why, would an authentic, gracious 2 story Craftsman home, with all its slip board sided, wide prairie roof over front porch and stone clad foundation glory be ignored?!
Well, take a gander at this picture…
Granted, this is a crap-tastic picture from my I-Phone, but it illustrates a point. The lovely lines of this amazing home are completely obscured by the ginormous trees.
And herein lies the opportunity. The interior of this home is great. The yard is great. There is an artist studio cum home office with 1/2 bath over the garage that is great. I think the price ($749,000) is great. The architectural detail is better than great! I think most people are “judging a book by it’s cover” and totally missing out.
