Maybe it is the 10 years I spent in a Drum and Bugle Corps (The Chinese Imperial Dragons Drum and Bugle Corps, thanks for asking!), but I just love me some booming brass!
At 7 p.m. on Feb. 7, the Crescenta Valley Arts Council will present Brass Bash, an informal introduction to the world of instrumental music, at the La Crescenta Presbyterian Church, 2902 Montrose Ave. Admission is $5.
This is great community event that give students and amateurs a rare chance to play alongside professional musicians. Here is a great article in the News-Press about the event.
Even if Brass is not your passion, this a unique and wonderful way to support arts here, in La Crescenta.
