Trick or Treating is always a fun pastime…So I’m going to give you a quick and simple guide to making sure all your treats are safe to eat. I know the chances of receiving posionous candy are slim, but this only takes a few minutes and will give you a peace of mind. So you can rest assure that the only thing you or your kid will need is a dentist!
STEP ONE:
Dump out all of your candy on a large table in a room that is well lit.
STEP TWO:
If you want to be super safe, make two piles and separate all homemade goodies/fresh fruit. Unless you know the neighbor who packed the bags of homemade sweets.
STEP THREE:
Throw away all unwrapped candy.
STEP FOUR:
Gently inspect the rest of the store bought candy and throw out anything that is damaged or appears to be tampered.
STEP FIVE:
ENJOY -> Stuff yourself silly with all the sweet treats you can!

I love the information you provide on this site! I’m not close to home ownership although I LOVE the look of that 1640 Riverside listing. Thank you for sharing this knowledge!
