A Potpourri of Bodacity

by Kendyl on June 23, 2008

It was a very quiet weekend on the Real Estate front. I think everyone was hiding from the heat! I took off for the movies and saw Kung Fu Panda for the second time. I’m still amazed with it’s bodacity. ( I might have to add that word to my Kendyl Speak dictionary. Bodacity. Love it!) The power cut out twice during the movie, but we got through it. I had so much fun, I thought I’d share a little on my blog.

I just have a couple of small things to talk about today. First – I have a client (an older couple) who needs a 1-2 year lease for a home with a yard or patio and that accepts a very well behaved cocker spaniel and cat. Northern Glendale, La Crescenta and La Canada are preferred. They are looking up to $3,000/month. Please let me know if you know of something!

Second, I came accross this wonderful article about the Grand Central Air Terminal in Glendale. Located at what is now 1310 Air Way. It is the main terminal is the only building left from the original airport (although some articles list two hangars in use for other purposes), and has been under the ownership of the Walt Disney Company since 1997. Click on the link! It is a great history and pictorial essay!

I saw a for rent sign posted on the front hard of 1362 Ruberta Ave Glendale, 91201. This house was recently sold for $770K.

Thank you, Jack! I had forgotten about that one.
