264 W. Kenneth is that turreted white house between Basso and Cedarhill.  It sits a little below grade and is easy to miss.  This house has a pool, a pool house and is completely remodeled.  No pictures, so I can’t tell if it’s done well or not.

My 1114 Norton sold, yipee!!!  This was a really tough deal because my homeowners had neglected a sprinkler that was watering the wood bay window for years and the shower pan had been leaking for many years.  The water damage was pretty extensive.  Lesson – water is destructive.  Do not ignore your leaks!!  We got through it and it was becasue everyone worked hard to be fair and good to each other. Kudos for good people!

1652 Bel Air is a triumph for the listing agent.  Other agents, including me, didn’t see the opportunity.  She sold that home herself and I’ll bet everyone there is happy as well.

My decision

I have decided to go home.  Almost literally!  My mother was with Coldwell Banker from the day they opened an office in Glendale, back in the ’70’s.  We had the office on Glenoaks and Highland, the building that is now the Sidewalk Cafe.  As a teen I stuffed envelopes and ran errands for her.  Later, when I moved my Real Estate business from Northern California, I settled in for a wonderful stint with Coldwell Banker Glendale.

Now we have the beautiful offices on the second floor of 620 N. Brand (the old Home Savings Building) and I will rejoin my friends and make new ones.  I am completely excited by this move.  My original intention, to help people move up to La Canada, is well served by the lasting relationships I have created with the all the agents there.

This was a really hard decision, but I am absolutely clear it is the right one.  I am completely filled with gratitude for everyone who reached out to me with support and encouragement, and to everyone who let me know that I am valued.  Wow.  I am incredibly blessed!!!!
