ON the 23 of January, the LA Times gleefully announced that foreclosures have gone through the roof and other variations on the sky is falling theme.  They had a great big graffic that was almost completely useless to the average home owner - it just looked really scary.

So, snoopy gal that I am, I went on their website and found that they let us look by specific zip code.  So  I did.

I have never tracked this sort of thing, so I can not give context beyond this graphic.  But, I gotta say, it doesn’t look good.
