What an interesting day! I was very honored to speak at a Woman’s Council of Realtors luncheon as part of a Superstar Panel. The purpose of this panel was to share thoughts and ideas with our peers about marketing, business practices and industry trends. It was great to share my thoughts with like minded, professional Realtors, but it was even more fascinating to see what other agents are thinking. Here are some of the ideas I thought you might find interesting:

  1. Most of the panel has at least one person “on staff”. Our general experience is to hire high quality, experienced and licensed administrative staff so that our clients are better served.
  2. We are all dedicated to constant education and training.
  3. We all have a different marketing philosophies. However, each of us felt that a high end, professional image was important to establish credibility for our properties, for ourselves and for our industry.
  4. Our greatest frustration is the agent on the other side of the transaction that is NOT a true professional; does not serve his/her client’s needs and is ignorant about the purchasing process. These agents either prevent their buyers from buying the home they want or sell/convince/coerce their buyers to enter escrow on a home they don’t want or can’t afford.

Open Houses

This Sunday I am at 1640 Riverside from 2-5PM. This yuppie-cool home is completely remodeled and has a detached guest room with a permitted full bath. Details and lots of pictures here.

I also have my Vista Court open Sunday 2-5 PM. This is a very clean, newer built home in La Crescenta, above Foothill. This home has it all, 3 bed 2.5 baths, including master suite, den with fireplace, Formal Dining Room and Formal Living Room. There are lovely mountain views from the Master. At $720,000, this home is a great value. Details and lots of pictures here.

Lastly, here is a list of open homes in Northwest Glendale. Have fun touring them, and be sure to let the agents know that Kendyl sent you!
