Do you listen to “Marketplace” on NPR? I love that show. Whenever I write this post I can’t help but hear Ky Rysdal say “let’s do the numbers”. So - Do! Let’s!

If we were actually listening to Marketplace on NPR we would hear the music signifying a rise in fortunes - “You can’t do a thing, if you can’t hear that swing”. (I really should figure out how to embed music on this blog.)
The numbers are continuing their snails pace toward a slightly upward trend. Number of homes on the market is down, slightly. Number of reductions, while still high, are better than last week and the number of homes that went into escrow are looking better. We’ve had 7 in escrow and 11 close so far, this month. In the interest of perspective, in 2006 we commonly saw 50 - 60 homes go into escrow in a month.
