Chitlins, today’s post is just for those who are looking for a great real estate deal. Those of you who are just looking for fun and amusement, move along. there is nothing here for you today. I will return to being entertaining later, I promise!
I know about a few really cool situations, so I thought I’d tell you about them in one fell swoop.
- A remodeled house in NWGD. Great backyard, new kitchen, 3 bed 1.5 bath, about 1500 sf, well above Kenneth Rd. $640,000.
- 1342 Sonora is now at $549,500. Last year, while a short sale, this house was getting $550k offers all day long. Now, as a regualr sale in a more active market, this property will go FAST.
- An interesting investment: little house (890sf) in Burbank that has old tenants in poor health. I tell you that because the trust will sell this home at a steep discount to whomever will agree to let the tenants stay until they die. house is worth, maybe, $430-$450 and the trust has indicated they will sell for as low as $300k
- A fixer opportunity in Pacific Palisades. This is on 2/3 of an acre, but not all flat. It backs to Will Roger State Park and is located in a cool neighborhood above Sunset Blvd. Homes in the area sell for 2-5 million- this house will sell for about 1.3 mill. While not really a tear down, it is likely someone will want to maximize the value of the land.
